Description

Altronix T2PHK33F16P8 Power Distribution Module

Overview

The Altronix T2PHK33F16P8 is a power distribution module designed to provide regulated 12VDC output for up to 16 IP cameras or other surveillance devices, with an additional 8 auxiliary outputs. This unit is ideal for centralized power management in large-scale CCTV deployments, simplifying wiring and ensuring stable power delivery. The T2PHK33F16P8 model specifically addresses the need for fused protection on each output, preventing a single device failure from impacting the entire system.

Compatibility

This power distribution module is designed to work with a wide range of 12VDC powered surveillance cameras and accessories. It is compatible with most IP camera brands that accept a 12VDC input, including but not limited to Axis, Hanwha, Hikvision, Dahua, and others requiring up to 2A per output. It is also suitable for powering IR illuminators, network switches, and other ancillary equipment requiring a regulated 12VDC source.

Installation Notes

Installation requires a 24VAC input from a suitable transformer (not included). Each of the 16 main outputs and 8 auxiliary outputs is individually fused with a 3A rating, providing overcurrent protection. The module requires a standard 19-inch rack space for mounting. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating, especially when operating at maximum load. Wiring should adhere to local electrical codes.
