Altronix T2MTT8K1 8-Port PoE/Fused Power Distribution Unit

Overview

The Altronix T2MTT8K1 is a versatile power distribution unit designed to provide centralized power for up to eight devices, such as IP cameras, network switches, or access control readers. It offers flexible voltage outputs and integrated fusing, simplifying installations and reducing wiring complexity in commercial surveillance and security systems. This unit is suitable for rack-mount deployments where consolidated power management is required.

Compatibility

This unit is designed to power a wide range of low-voltage devices. It supports 12VDC up to 4.6A (55W) and/or 24VDC up to 2.3A (55W) outputs, with a combined output not to exceed 55W. The integrated 10/100/1000 BaseT Ethernet port allows for remote monitoring and management of power status. It accepts input power from 115VAC or 230VAC sources.

Installation Notes

The unit operates within an ambient temperature range of 0ºC to 49ºC (32ºF to 120ºF). Input fuses are rated at 15A/32V, and individual output fuses are 3A/32V, providing overcurrent protection for each connected device. The large enclosure (27.25” x 21.5” x 6.5”) accommodates significant wiring and allows for up to 100m of power transmission distance. Ensure adequate ventilation as the unit generates approximately 120 BTU/Hr.
