Altronix T1MT4K1 Surveillance Power System
Overview
The Altronix T1MT4K1 is a versatile power solution designed to inject PoE power into an Ethernet cable while simultaneously providing regulated 12VDC or 24VDC outputs for auxiliary devices. This unit is ideal for IP camera installations requiring extended power reach or for powering devices like access control readers and door strikes in locations where local AC power is not readily available. The T1MT4K1 supports multiple PoE input standards, offering flexibility for various power sources, and includes battery backup capabilities for uninterruptible operation.
Compatibility
This device accepts PoE input from standard 802.3af (up to 15W), 802.3at (up to 30W), and 802.3bt (up to 90W) compliant network switches or injectors. It passes through 10/100/1000 BaseT Ethernet up to 100 meters. The 12VDC and 24VDC outputs are suitable for a wide range of surveillance and access control equipment, including IP cameras, PTZ domes, IR illuminators, and electric locks. It supports both sealed lead-acid and LiFePO4 battery chemistries for backup power.
Installation Notes
The unit requires a 115VAC, 60Hz or 230VAC, 50/60Hz input for its internal power supply and battery charging. The enclosure dimensions are 18" x 14.5" x 4.62", requiring adequate mounting space. Operating temperature range is 0ºC to 49ºC. The device monitors for PoE loss, low battery conditions, and battery presence, providing status via its supervision features.
