Description

Altronix T3MK75F16SD Power Distribution Module

Overview

The Altronix T3MK75F16SD is a compact power distribution module designed to efficiently split a single power source into multiple outputs for 12VDC or 24VDC surveillance devices. It's engineered for installations where reliable, fused power delivery to numerous cameras, encoders, or other low-voltage equipment is critical. The T3MK75F16SD is particularly suited for rack-mount or cabinet installations requiring organized power distribution with individual circuit protection. This model supports up to 16 fused outputs, each equipped with PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) thermal breakers that automatically reset after a fault, minimizing downtime and service calls. It accepts a 115VAC input, converting it to the required DC output voltage.

Compatibility

This module is designed to work with a wide range of 12VDC and 24VDC powered surveillance equipment. It is compatible with power supplies that provide a stable 115VAC input and can deliver sufficient current for the total load of the connected devices. The fused outputs are suitable for individual cameras, IP encoders, access control readers, or any low-voltage device requiring up to 20A total current draw from the primary power source, with individual PTC protection limiting each output.

Installation Notes

The T3MK75F16SD requires a 115VAC input connection to its primary power terminals. Each of the 16 outputs is individually fused with PTC thermal breakers, rated for a specific current limit (typically 1A or 2A per output, check specific model variant for exact ratings). Ensure the total current draw from all outputs does not exceed the primary power supply's capacity. Wiring should be performed by qualified personnel following local electrical codes. The module is designed for rack-mount or cabinet installation, requiring appropriate mounting hardware and space for ventilation.
