Description

Altronix T1PHK3F8D 8-Door Access Control Kit

Overview

The Altronix T1PHK3F8D is a pre-assembled kit designed to provide regulated power and battery backup for up to eight (8) doors managed by Openpath access control systems. This unit consolidates power distribution, surge protection, and battery management into a single enclosure, simplifying installation and reducing wiring complexity in commercial access control deployments. It's engineered to deliver reliable, continuous power to controllers, readers, and locking devices, ensuring system uptime even during power outages.

Compatibility

This kit is specifically designed for use with Openpath access control systems. It supports up to eight (8) doors, each requiring a dedicated power output. It is compatible with standard 12VDC or 24VDC locking devices, including electric strikes and magnetic locks, and associated Openpath controllers and readers.

Installation Notes

The T1PHK3F8D requires a 115VAC or 230VAC, 50/60Hz input power source. It includes space for two (2) 12VDC sealed lead-acid batteries (not included) for backup. The enclosure is designed for wall mounting and features multiple conduit knockouts for clean cable management. Proper grounding is essential for surge protection effectiveness.
