Camera count scales up to 75 units per appliance depending on resolution and frame rate settings configured in the Alta cloud console, so higher-bitrate streams (multi-megapixel, high-fps) will reduce the practical camera count below that ceiling.
Two 10Gb BaseT network ports handle camera ingest and uplink separately, or can be teamed for throughput and failover — plan switch ports accordingly since 10Gb BaseT requires Cat6a or better cabling runs.
