The Addon SFP-10G-BXU-20-AO is a TAA-compliant SFP+ transceiver designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections over single-mode fiber. It operates using Bi-Directional (BX) technology, transmitting and receiving data on a single fiber strand by utilizing different wavelengths (1310nm transmit/1550nm receive). This configuration is ideal for extending network reach in enterprise data centers, campus networks, and telecommunications infrastructure where fiber optic cabling is already in place, and a cost-effective, high-bandwidth solution is required. The SFP-10G-BXU-20-AO model specifically supports distances up to 20 kilometers.

This SFP+ transceiver is engineered for broad compatibility with network devices supporting the SFP+ form factor. Installation Notes

Install the SFP+ module into an available SFP+ port on your network device. Ensure the fiber optic cable is properly terminated and clean. For optimal performance and to maintain signal integrity, avoid bending the fiber optic cable beyond its minimum bend radius (typically 20mm for single-mode fiber). The transceiver draws power directly from the host device's SFP+ slot.
