The Add-On AFBR-2CAR20Z-AO is a TAA-compliant 10GBASE-AOC SFP+ direct attach cable designed for short-reach, high-speed interconnects within racks or between adjacent racks. This cable provides a cost-effective, low-power alternative to fiber optic transceivers and patch cords for connecting network switches, servers, and storage devices. Its integrated nature eliminates the need for separate transceivers, simplifying deployment and reducing potential points of failure in environments requiring strict adherence to trade agreements.

Compatibility

This 20-meter SFP+ direct attach cable is engineered to be compatible with a wide range of networking equipment that supports the SFP+ (Small Form-Factor Pluggable Plus) interface. It is designed to interoperate with devices from major manufacturers, including but not limited to Cisco, Juniper, Arista, HP, Dell, and other brands utilizing standard SFP+ ports for 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. Specific compatibility includes switches, servers, and network interface cards (NICs) supporting 10GBASE-SR, 10GBASE-SW, and other SFP+ standards.

Installation Notes
