Overview

The Middle Atlantic 1126A-11/2 is a 525 Series service fitting adapter that steps a 2-in IPS preset or afterset insert down to a 1.5-in (38.1 mm) opening. If your in-floor service fitting is sized for a 2-in IPS cutout but your cable management or conduit run calls for a 1.5-in terminus, this adapter closes that gap without cutting a new floor core. It is TAA-compliant, making it eligible for federal procurement and GSA-scheduled projects where country-of-origin compliance is a contract requirement.

Compatibility

Designed for use within the Middle Atlantic 525 Series in-floor service fitting system. Compatible with 2-in IPS preset inserts and 2-in IPS afterset inserts from that series. The 1.5-in (38.1 mm) finished diameter fits standard 1.5-in IPS service fittings. Confirm your floor box cutout is sized for 2-in IPS before ordering — this adapter does not fit the 1-in or 2.5-in IPS variants in the 525 Series lineup.
