Overview

The SMAX-0052 is a pendant-drop mounting assembly for ACTi dome cameras, built for ceiling installations where the camera needs to hang below the ceiling plane rather than sit flush — common in warehouses with high ceilings, retail spaces with drop ceilings, or lobbies where a flush dome would be too far from the scene. It bundles two mount components (PMAX-0102 + PMAX-0110) into one kit so you're not sourcing the pendant tube and adapter plate separately.

Compatibility

Confirmed fit for the ACTi I91, I92, and KCM-8111 dome camera series. Verify your exact camera model against this list before ordering — pendant adapters are dome-specific, and a mismatched base plate won't seat correctly on the housing.

Installation Notes

Rated for indoor environments only, so skip this for exterior soffits or unconditioned spaces — outdoor pendant drops need a housing with an environmental rating, not this kit. Finished in white to match standard ACTi dome housings for a clean ceiling appearance. At 1 lb, the assembly adds negligible load to standard ceiling anchors, but confirm your ceiling material can support the combined weight of mount plus camera before drilling.
