The RC7APTCGY is a gray abandonment plate designed to close out floor or surface cutouts left behind when an RC7 multi-service poke-thru device is removed or decommissioned. In commercial AV and security installations, poke-thru devices are often relocated during tenant churn or system reconfigurations — leaving an open floor penetration that is both a trip hazard and a code concern. The RC7APTCGY caps that cutout cleanly without requiring structural patching, keeping the floor surface safe and visually finished. TAA-compliant construction makes it suitable for federal and government facility installations where trade compliance is a procurement requirement.
Designed specifically for the Middle Atlantic RC7 Multi-Service Assembled Poke-Thru Device series. The abandonment plate fits the RC7 cutout footprint — it is not a universal cover and will not seat correctly in cutouts from other poke-thru product families. Verify the existing cutout was made for an RC7-series device before ordering. Color is gray (GY suffix); confirm finish matches your floor or surface material requirements before specifying.
