Overview

The Middle Atlantic 1045S is a 3-1/2-inch stainless steel abandon plate assembly designed to cap unused or decommissioned in-floor service fitting openings in the 1045/525 series. When a floor box or service fitting cutout is no longer in use — or a floor plan change leaves an opening exposed — the 1045S closes it flush, eliminating a trip hazard and maintaining the finished appearance of the floor surface. TAA-compliant, making it suitable for federal, state, and municipal installations subject to the Trade Agreements Act.

Compatibility

Designed for the Middle Atlantic 1045/525-series in-floor service fitting product line. Sized for 3-1/2-inch openings within that series. Verify your existing floor fitting model is in the 1045 or 525 family before ordering — this plate is not a universal blank and will not fit other series or third-party floor box cutouts.
