Overview
The Middle Atlantic RM-LCD-MT is a 9-rack-unit telescoping rack mount panel designed to hold an LCD monitor inside a standard 19-inch equipment rack. It solves the problem of locating a display inside a closed rack enclosure — the telescoping mechanism lets you slide the monitor out for use and retract it flush when not needed, keeping the rack door functional and the footprint tight. This is the right fit for AV control rooms, security operations centers, and IT equipment rooms where a dedicated workstation monitor isn't practical but in-rack display access is required. The RM-LCD-MT occupies 9 RU of vertical rack space and supports monitors up to 35 lbs (15.9 kg), which covers most commercial 17- to 24-inch LCD panels used in rack-integrated environments.
Compatibility
Mounts in any EIA-standard 19-inch rack with at least 9 RU of open vertical space — compatible with Middle Atlantic rack enclosures as well as third-party 19-inch two-post and four-post racks that conform to EIA-310 rail spacing. The two mounting points attach to standard rack rail holes (square, round, or threaded with appropriate hardware). Verify your rack has continuous unobstructed depth behind the rail: the RM-LCD-MT extends 8.68 inches (22.1 cm) deep when retracted, so shallow-depth wall-mount enclosures under 10 inches may not clear. Not intended for open-frame relay racks where there is no enclosure panel to contain the telescoping assembly.
