The Panduit UTP28X8INBU is an 8-inch, 28 AWG Cat 6A UTP patch cord in blue. Its compact diameter and solid conductor construction are designed for high-density environments like data centers, simplifying cable management and supporting 10GBASE-T Ethernet. The integrated tangle-free latch ensures secure connections and easy release, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. Pre-installed barcodes facilitate port mapping with RapidID software.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA requirements up to 500 MHz. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt PoE applications, including type 3 and type 4. It is suitable for 10GBASE-T Ethernet, data center I/O consolidation, server virtualization, backbone aggregation, and high-speed computing environments.

Installation Notes

Constructed with a 0.185-inch (4.7mm) diameter cable, this cord offers a compact footprint for dense installations. The solid conductor design requires careful handling to avoid kinking.
