The Middle Atlantic BRK8 is an 8U (14U-high equivalent in panel units) knockdown wood rack finished in black wood grain melamine — built for AV equipment rooms, small server closets, and security head-end installations where a furniture-grade enclosure fits better than exposed steel. The BRK8 ships flat and assembles on-site, which matters when you're moving equipment through tight doorways or building closets. At 17.41 inches of usable depth and a 200 lb weight capacity, it handles NVRs, managed switches, and associated rack-mount gear without structural concerns. Width is 20.4 inches overall. Standard 10-32 threaded rails accept any rack-mount equipment built to EIA-310 spacing — no cage nuts required.

Confirmed compatible with Middle Atlantic's own rack-mount accessories (blanks, shelves, cable management panels). Suitable for 1U–4U NVRs, PoE switches, UPS units, and patch panels up to 17.41 inches deep. Not suitable for deep-format servers or full-depth UPS units exceeding the 17.41-inch usable depth. The 8 RU of usable height (14 inches / 35.6 cm) constrains vertical density — plan your rack layout before committing gear that could require a taller enclosure.
