The ATEN 2L2502 is a 2-meter (6 ft) VGA cable terminated with HDB-15 male connectors on both ends, supporting resolutions up to 1920x1200. It's the right pick for KVM installations, display deployments, and AV integrations where a short, signal-clean VGA run is needed between a source and a monitor or projector. The 30 AWG tinned copper conductors paired with AL-Mylar shielding suppress interference on shared equipment racks and in environments with moderate EMI — keeping analog signal integrity intact at the cable's rated resolution ceiling.
Compatibility
Designed for use with ATEN KVM switches and KVM extenders that use HDB-15 VGA ports, including the ATEN CS-series and CL-series KVM switches, as well as any standard VGA-equipped monitor, projector, or source device with an HDB-15 (DB-15 HD) interface. Fits any installation where both the source and display carry a standard VGA port — no active electronics or signal conversion required. Not compatible with DVI, HDMI, or DisplayPort interfaces without an appropriate adapter.
Installation Notes
At 2 meters, this cable is suited for within-rack or short desk-to-display runs. VGA is an analog signal — longer runs or cable quality degradation will reduce effective resolution. For runs beyond 5 meters, plan for a VGA extender to maintain 1920x1200 fidelity. The PVC jacket is rated for standard indoor use; do not deploy in plenum spaces without verifying local fire code compliance.
