Description

Middle Atlantic XPU6K 6 ft Under Carpet Raceway Kit

Overview

The Middle Atlantic XPU6K is a 6 ft (1.8 m) under-carpet raceway kit designed to route low-voltage cables — power, data, AV, and security wiring — beneath carpet without creating visible conduit runs or trip hazards. The XPU6K is the right choice for conference rooms, open office floors, retail environments, and any finished interior space where surface-mounted conduit or exposed cable drops are unacceptable. Silver finish suits commercial carpet and tile transitions. TAA-compliant construction means it's eligible for federal, state, and GSA procurement contracts where Buy American compliance is required.

Compatibility

The XPU6K is a general-purpose under-carpet raceway compatible with standard low-voltage cable types used across Middle Atlantic AV infrastructure builds and broader cable management deployments — including Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet, coax, speaker wire, and control cabling. It is not rated for line-voltage (AC mains) conductors. Pair with additional XPU6K sections to extend runs, or integrate with compatible Middle Atlantic raceway connectors and end caps from the Express Under Carpet family for complete termination. Suitable for use alongside AV rack and furniture installations where cable egress to floor-level devices requires a managed path. For security integrators routing IP camera or access control cabling in finished spaces, the XPU6K provides a code-compliant, low-profile channel that keeps runs organized and auditable.

Installation Notes

Designed for installation under standard commercial carpet — not recommended for hard tile, polished concrete, or high-traffic thresholds without supplemental adhesive or transition strips. The 6 ft length is the base unit; plan your run before cutting to avoid waste. Silver color is fixed; confirm against field conditions before ordering if color match is critical. TAA compliance is verified at the SKU level — confirm TAA-compliant documentation requirements with your procurement team for government or institutional projects prior to specifying.
