Description

Middle Atlantic LACE-37P Vertical Cable Lace Strip, 37U, 6-Piece Pack

Overview

The Middle Atlantic LACE-37P is a 37-rack-unit vertical cable management lacing strip designed for structured wiring inside open-frame and enclosed equipment racks. Each strip measures 64.75 in. tall × 2 in. wide × 0.13 in. deep — the narrow 0.13 in. profile keeps it from eating into usable rack depth while still providing enough surface area to anchor cable bundles cleanly at every rack unit. Round holes along the full height accept hook-and-loop or cable ties at any position, so you can dress security camera runs, NVR feeds, or structured cabling without committing to a fixed tie-point before the install is finalized. LACE-37P ships as a 6-piece pack, enough to outfit both vertical rails on a pair of racks in a single order.

Compatibility

Designed for Middle Atlantic rack systems, including the Essex, Slim 5, and L5 series open-frame and enclosed rack enclosures built to standard 19 in. EIA rail spacing. The 37 RU height matches full-height 37U Middle Atlantic rack frames directly. The strips mount to standard EIA 10-32 or 12-24 tapped rails using the existing rail holes — no additional drilling required. Compatible with any rack or enclosure that uses standard 19 in. EIA-310 vertical rail spacing where vertical rack accessories mount to the rail face. Not intended for horizontal cable management panels or two-post relay racks where rear-mount depth is limited below 0.13 in.

Installation Notes

Mount each strip to the vertical rail using the round holes as alignment guides. The 0.13 in. depth adds negligible projection into rack interior space — relevant in high-density installs where every fraction of an inch of clearance matters for switch or NVR rear-port access. At 27 lbs. shipping weight for the 6-piece set, individual strip weight is low enough for single-person installation without additional support fixtures during mounting.
