Overview

The Panduit UTP28X50GR is a 50-foot Category 6A unshielded twisted pair (UTP) patch cord designed for high-density data center environments. Its compact 28 AWG solid conductor construction and 0.185-inch diameter simplify cable management and airflow in racks, supporting 10GBASE-T Ethernet and advanced PoE applications. The integrated tangle-free latch facilitates easy port access and maintenance.

Compatibility

This patch cord supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet and is backward compatible with lower speeds. It meets IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards, enabling power delivery for PoE devices. Specifically, it supports up to 48 cables in a bundle for 802.3af/at and 24 cables in a bundle for 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 PoE applications, making it suitable for powering network devices like IP cameras and wireless access points from compatible network switches. The Pan-Net® system ensures network integrity.
