Overview
The MK6W-100NAS bundles a NETGEAR WiFi 6 router with integrated 4-port Gigabit switching and Easymesh support — a practical all-in-one for small-to-medium office deployments where a single access point must also serve wired device connectivity. Easymesh (802.11s) enables seamless roaming across multiple AP units without vendor lock-in, lowering deployment friction in mixed-brand network environments. WiFi 6 (802.11ax) delivers roughly double the throughput density of WiFi 5 on congested bands, meaningful when you're saturating connections with IoT devices, security cameras, or wireless workstations.
Compatibility
The MK6W-100NAS integrates as a standalone WiFi 6 access point and L2 switch. It pairs with any standard Gigabit Ethernet uplink (PoE or direct wall power) and supports Easymesh mesh formation with other 802.11s-capable access points. The 4-port integrated switch handles wired clients (NVRs, network printers, IP cameras, workstations) without external switching hardware. Wireless clients connect via standard 802.11ax (WiFi 6) — no proprietary drivers required.
Installation Notes
Mount via wall bracket or desktop placement. Power via standard AC mains (confirm voltage availability at install site). Ethernet uplink to an existing router or PoE injector if mesh extension is your goal; standalone deployment requires only AC power and one upstream link.
