Description

Middle Atlantic BGR-45SA-27 Standalone Rack Frame

Overview

The Middle Atlantic BGR-45SA-27 is a standalone, 45U rack frame designed for AV and IT equipment installations where a full-sized enclosure is not required or feasible. This frame configuration offers direct access to equipment for installation and maintenance, supporting up to 3000 lbs. It's an ideal choice for open-rack deployments in commercial spaces, staging areas, or behind-the-scenes AV closets where ventilation is ample and security is managed via other means. The BGR-45SA-27 is built with a durable steel construction and a black wrinkle powder coat finish.

Compatibility

This rack frame is designed to accommodate standard 19-inch rack-mountable equipment. Its forward-compatible rackrail design ensures compatibility with current and future generations of AV and IT hardware, offering flexibility for system upgrades. The frame itself is gangable, allowing for expansion by connecting multiple units side-by-side.

Installation Notes

The BGR-45SA-27 features a robust steel construction and a UL load capacity of 3000 lbs, with a seismic load capacity of 1175 lbs when properly braced. It includes a rear door for cable management and access, and a 25mm x 150mm swing handle for easier maneuverability. The unit is TAA compliant and manufactured in the USA.
