Overview

The WR-RR-44 is a single replacement or supplemental 10-32 threaded rack rail sized for 44U (rack enclosures) in the Middle Atlantic WR series. It ships as one rail — order two when replacing a full pair. The 44RU usable height spans 77 inches, and the rail holds up to 150 lbs UL-rated load, so it handles dense AV and security equipment loads without flex. If you're retrofitting slide-out WR shelving or replacing a damaged rail in an existing enclosure, the WR-RR-44 restores full rack depth (20 in / 50.8 cm) without pulling the entire frame.

Compatibility

Designed exclusively for the Middle Atlantic WR series open-frame and enclosed rack systems. Fits WR-series cabinets in the 44U configuration only — do not use in WR racks of a different unit count, as rail length is not interchangeable across RU sizes. The 10-32 threaded hole pattern is standard across WR-series frames; verify your existing rail type before ordering (some older WR builds used 12-24 threading). Compatible with standard 10-32 cage nuts and rack screws used throughout the rack accessories category. Not compatible with Middle Atlantic ERK, BGR, or C-series enclosures — those use different rail profiles and mounting geometries.

Installation Notes

This is a single rail — a full replacement requires two units. The rail mounts into the existing WR frame channel; no additional drilling or modification is required for a standard WR enclosure swap. Verify mounting channel alignment before torquing fasteners, particularly on older WR frames that may have accumulated minor deformation.
