Overview

The Middle Atlantic BGR-41SA-32 is a 41 RU standalone rack frame designed for AV, IT, and security equipment installations where a full cabinet is not required or feasible. Its open frame construction facilitates airflow and accessibility, making it suitable for staging, pre-configuration, or deployment in environments that prioritize ventilation and ease of access over full enclosure security. This frame supports up to 3000 lbs of equipment, ensuring stability for substantial gear loads. It is assembled in the USA and is TAA compliant.

Compatibility

This rack frame is built to the 19-inch EIA-310 standard, ensuring compatibility with virtually all standard rack-mountable IT, AV, and security equipment, including network switches, servers, NVRs, DVRs, and patch panels. The forward rackrail design allows for flexible equipment placement and future upgrades. Its 32-inch depth accommodates deeper components, while the 29.4 inches of usable depth provides ample space for cabling and airflow behind installed devices.

Installation Notes

The BGR-41SA-32 features a steel construction with a black wrinkle powder coat finish for durability. It includes a 25mm x 150mm swing handle for easier positioning. The frame is gangable, allowing multiple units to be joined for expanded capacity. Seismic rating of 1175 lbs (533 kg) is provided when properly anchored, meeting HCAI (formerly OSHPD) requirements. The unit is UL Listed for load capacity.
