C2G 27801 Cat6 Snagless Patch Cord

Overview

The C2G 27801 is a 3-foot, purple, Category 6 patch cable designed to provide reliable network connectivity for devices within close proximity. Its snagless design prevents damage to the connector tabs during installation and removal, crucial for maintaining network integrity in environments like server racks or network closets. This cable supports data rates up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet and frequencies up to 550MHz, ensuring sufficient bandwidth for surveillance camera streams, NVRs, and other network equipment.

Compatibility

This Cat6 patch cord is compatible with any network device featuring an RJ45 Ethernet port. This includes, but is not limited to, IP cameras, network video recorders (NVRs), managed and unmanaged network switches, routers, and servers. Its standard construction ensures interoperability across various brands and system architectures, making it suitable for extending connections between rack-mounted equipment or connecting a camera to a nearby network switch.

Installation Notes

The snagless boot design protects the RJ45 connector tab, preventing accidental disengagement and simplifying installation in tight spaces. The 3-foot length is ideal for short, clean cable runs, reducing clutter and potential interference. Ensure the cable is not subjected to excessive bending or tension, which could compromise its performance and lifespan.
