Overview

The ATEN PG5308A is a 1U rack-mount metered power distribution unit rated for 30A at 100–110V, delivering eight outlets across a single rack unit of space. Designed for rack PDU deployments where per-unit load visibility matters — server rooms, AV equipment racks, and security infrastructure enclosures — the PG5308A reports current draw at 1% metering accuracy, tight enough to catch load imbalances before they trip a breaker. The 3-meter power cord terminates in a NEMA L5-30P twist-lock plug, matching standard 30A single-phase circuits common in US data center and enterprise rack environments. Firmware is field-upgradable; the current release is v1.0.097 (2026-05-05).

Compatibility

The PG5308A is designed for ATEN's ATEN rack management ecosystem and integrates with ATEN's PDU management software and infrastructure monitoring platforms that support standard metered PDU protocols. The NEMA L5-30P input limits deployment to 100–110V single-phase circuits — not suitable for 208V or 240V feeds (see the PG5308B for NEMA L6-30P at higher voltages, or PG5308G for IEC 60309 32A international deployments). Outlet and cord compatibility should be confirmed against your rack power whips and UPS output receptacles before ordering. Operating humidity is rated 0–80% RH non-condensing, covering standard conditioned network equipment rooms without issue.
