The Geovision 84-EFD2700-2010 is a 2MP fixed mini dome designed for indoor and semi-protected spaces where compact form factor and aesthetic integration matter. It solves the visual clutter problem in retail floors, office lobbies, corridors, and access points where larger bullet or turret cameras draw unwanted attention. The 84-EFD2700-2010 delivers 2MP resolution sufficient for facial recognition at 6–8 feet and license-plate detail at 12+ feet depending on lens configuration, while its low-profile dome housing minimizes visual presence and resists casual tampering.

Compatibility

The 84-EFD2700-2010 integrates with standard IP surveillance infrastructure via ONVIF compliance. It works with NVRs, VMS platforms (Milestone, Genetec, Axis Camera Station, and generic ONVIF-compatible systems), and network management tools that support H.265 video streams. PoE power delivery via MPCam cabling means no separate power supply is required—a single Ethernet run provides both video and power. Confirm your switch or PoE injector supports the camera's power draw before deployment.

Installation Notes

The mini dome mounts to ceiling or wall via standard M3 or M4 fastener patterns typical to the form factor. Installation labor is minimized by eliminating separate power runs; route one CAT5e/CAT6 drop to the camera location.
