Overview

The Middle Atlantic ERK-2725-CONFIG is a 27U, 25-inch-deep pre-configured floor-standing rack built for residential AV and light commercial equipment installations. This ERK-2725-CONFIG ships fully assembled with five shelves and a 15A power strip — eliminating the configuration time that comes with building a rack from components. At 22 inches wide with a standard 19-inch panel width and 10-32 threaded rails, it accepts virtually any rackmount gear: NVRs, managed PoE switches, patch panels, UPS units, and AV processors. The 27 RU of usable rail space (47.38 in usable height) provides enough room for a complete small-to-midsize system without forcing a larger enclosure. Steel construction with a black wrinkle powder coat finish gives it the durability expected in long-term installs. The included rear door keeps cable management contained while still allowing airflow access. Manufactured in the USA.

Compatibility

Accepts any standard 19-inch rackmount equipment using 10-32 rail hardware — including network video recorders, managed PoE switches, patch panels, and rackmount UPS units. The 23.47-inch usable depth accommodates most 1U–4U network and AV appliances. Pre-configured shelves support non-rack equipment such as set-top receivers, media players, and control processors. Installation Notes

The rack ships fully assembled — no flat-pack assembly required. Bottom cable entry is standard for this form factor; route power and low-voltage separately. Rear door is hinged and removable for initial cable dressing.
