The Middle Atlantic ERK-2125-CONFIG is a factory pre-configured 21U floor-standing equipment rack sized for residential AV installs where a drop-in, ready-to-populate enclosure saves field assembly time. At 25 inches deep and 22 inches wide with a usable rack depth of 23.47 inches, the ERK-2125-CONFIG accommodates full-depth AV receivers, NVRs, and power distribution units without forcing you to trim cable management. The 21 RU opening (36.88 in usable height) handles a typical residential system — NVR, amplifier, distribution gear, and 15A power — without unnecessary empty space wasting floor real estate. UL-listed load capacity is 2,500 lbs; seismic load is rated at 591 lbs, making this suitable for California Title 24 and similar seismic-compliance projects. Manufactured in the USA from steel with a black wrinkle powder coat finish and 10-32 threaded rail. Includes a rear door for cable access and basic airflow management.

Compatibility

Standard 19-inch panel width and 10-32 threaded rails accept any EIA-310-D-compliant rack equipment — NVRs, UPS units, patch panels, power strips, and AV distribution gear from any manufacturer. The 23.47-inch usable depth accommodates most full-depth 1U/2U appliances. The four included shelves support passive AV components that lack rack ears. Pre-configured with Middle Atlantic's 15A power module; third-party PDUs in 1U or 2U format on 10-32 rails will also mount without adapters. Not intended for open-frame telecom or IDF applications — the enclosed cabinet form factor is matched to finished-space AV closets and dedicated equipment rooms.
