Description

Middle Atlantic ERK-2720 Stand Alone Rack

Overview

The Middle Atlantic ERK-2720 is a 27U, 19-inch wide, stand-alone rack frame designed for housing AV, IT, and security equipment. With a 20-inch depth and a substantial 2500 lb load capacity, it provides a stable, seismic-rated foundation for critical gear in environments where wall-mounting is not feasible or sufficient. This frame-only configuration allows for flexible component selection. Its construction ensures durability for commercial applications.

Compatibility

This rack frame is designed to accept standard 19-inch rack-mountable equipment. It utilizes 10-32 rack rail threading, compatible with most professional AV and IT components. The usable height of 47.38 inches accommodates up to 27 rack units of equipment. Its depth is suitable for shallow-depth equipment, but verify individual component dimensions against the 18.47-inch usable depth before installation.

Installation Notes

The ERK-2720 features a steel construction with a black wrinkle powder coat finish for durability. It is seismic rated, providing enhanced stability in earthquake-prone regions. The rack includes a rear door for cable management and equipment access. It is TAA compliant, meeting federal procurement requirements. This unit ships flat and requires assembly.
