Overview

The Panduit UTP28SP24OR is a 24-foot, 28 AWG stranded copper patch cord designed for high-performance network infrastructure. Its compact diameter and tangle-free latch simplify installation and cable management in dense rack environments, making it suitable for structured cabling systems requiring frequent moves, adds, or changes. This cord is rated CM/LSZH for use in riser applications and supports demanding network traffic including Gigabit Ethernet and VoIP.

Compatibility

This Cat 6 UTP patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO 11801 Class E standards, ensuring compatibility with 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) and 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet) networks. It supports ATM applications up to 1.2 Gb/s and is suitable for digital video and voice/data systems. Furthermore, it is designed to support IEEE 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, and specifically 802.3bt type 3 and type 4 (PoE++) when used in bundles of up to 24 cables, delivering power and data simultaneously without compromising performance.
