Compatibility
This patch panel is engineered for use with standard Category 6A (10GBASE-T) UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) and STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) cabling systems. It is designed to terminate 23-26 AWG solid conductor cables. Ensure your network switches and patch cords are also rated for Category 6A to achieve optimal performance.
Installation Notes
Termination of individual cables onto the rear punch-down blocks requires a standard 110-style punch-down tool. For optimal performance and to maintain the Category 6A rating, it is critical to ensure that the cable's lay is not untwisted beyond what is necessary for termination and that the cable's overall shield (if applicable) is properly connected to the panel's grounding mechanism.
