Overview
The Speco H24WHRL20TB is a 24-channel hybrid recorder built for installations that mix legacy analog (TVI), IP, and hybrid camera inputs on a single timeline. It ships with 20TB of factory-installed storage and combines DVR (8 TVI) + NVR (8 IP) + hybrid (8 TVI/IP switchable) architecture in a wall-mountable chassis. This model solves the staged migration problem — you run analog or TVI infrastructure in parallel with new IP deployments without swapping recorders or splitting your video archive.
Compatibility
Accepts 8 dedicated TVI inputs (analog baseband video), 8 dedicated IP inputs, and 8 configurable hybrid ports that accept either TVI or IP per channel. Supports up to 5MP on all channels; 4K recording available on 8 channels. Works with any ONVIF-compliant IP camera, and pairs with Speco TVI cameras, legacy composite cameras via balun, or third-party IP sources. Remote viewing via web browser or mobile app on any network with port forwarding or Speco's free US-based DDNS/P2P service. 2-way audio communication supported.
Installation Notes
Wall-mounted unit requires 4 mounting points; verify stud or drywall anchor load rating for 20TB unit weight. Includes 4 SATA drive bays (2 hot-swap SATA ports support up to 28TB total; 1 eSATA port adds up to 8TB external backup). Connect analog cameras to labeled TVI terminals, IP cameras via standard RJ-45 Ethernet. Supports 4K HDMI and VGA monitor outputs for local playback. Alarm I/O: 4/8/16 inputs and 1/2/4 relay outputs for integration with door sensors or access control systems.
