It solves the specific routing challenge of turning a raceway run around an outside corner — wall transitions, column wraps, or perimeter runs that change direction — while maintaining a consistent ivory finish and the full internal capacity of the 4000-series channel. If your cable management layout hits an external 90-degree turn, this is the fitting that completes it cleanly without forcing a hard bend in your cabling.

Designed for use with Middle Atlantic's 4000-series radiused steel raceway and cord cover system. Pairs with 4000-series straight sections, inside elbows, couplers, and end fittings in the same product family. Installation Notes

This is an external elbow — correct for outside corners where the raceway transitions around a convex wall edge or column face. Do not substitute for an internal elbow fitting, which is geometrically distinct and covers concave (inside) corners. The 2-inch radius profile is matched to the 4000-series channel depth; using it on a different raceway series will result in gaps or misalignment at the joint.
