Where infrastructure runs below a finished floor — AV, power, data, security endpoints — this flange closes out the opening cleanly and anchors the cover plate at floor level. The nickel finish suits commercial interiors where brushed metal or stainless-adjacent hardware is specified. Install after floor covering is in place — the flange is designed to terminate flush against carpet or tile, not to be set in concrete.
