Overview
The Vertiv GLHL10114CP is a 1U, 19-inch EIA plastic filler panel designed to occupy unused rack space. Installing these panels improves cabinet aesthetics by providing a clean, uniform appearance and, more importantly, directs airflow more efficiently through the rack. This is critical for maintaining optimal operating temperatures for sensitive IT equipment like servers, switches, and network video recorders (NVRs) within a data center or server room environment. The GLHL10114CP is finished in black to match standard rack and cabinet colors.
Compatibility
This filler panel is designed for standard 19-inch wide EIA (Electronic Industries Alliance) racks. It occupies 1U of vertical rack space. It is compatible with Vertiv's own rack and cabinet systems, as well as any standard 19-inch rack infrastructure commonly found in enterprise data centers, network closets, and industrial control rooms.
Installation Notes
Installation is straightforward. The panel typically attaches to the front of the rack using standard rack screws (not included). Ensure the rack is stable and properly grounded before installation.
