Overview
The Panduit UTP28X1BU is a 1-foot Cat 6A UTP patch cord designed for high-speed networking and data center applications. Its compact 28 AWG solid CM/LSZH cable construction simplifies routing in high-density environments, while the patented tangle-free latch ensures secure connection and easy release. This cord is ideal for deployments requiring 10GBASE-T Ethernet connectivity and robust Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, such as server virtualization and backbone aggregation.
Compatibility
This patch cord supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet and is rated for IEEE 802.3af/802.3at (up to 48 cables in a bundle) and 802.3bt types 3 and 4 PoE applications (up to 24 cables in a bundle). It exceeds ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA requirements up to 500 MHz. The cable construction is U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair).
Installation Notes
Constructed with 28 AWG solid conductors and a CM/LSZH jacket, this cable is suitable for use in riser pathways. The compact 0.185-inch (4.7mm) diameter facilitates easier cable management in high-density racks. The integrated tangle-free latch on the modular plug prevents snagging during installation and removal, streamlining moves, adds, and changes. Pre-installed barcodes on the plugs enable simple port mapping with RapidID software.
