The Middle Atlantic RK16 is a 16-rack-unit, ready-to-assemble open rack built for AV, security, and IT equipment rooms where a permanent welded enclosure is unnecessary. At 29.48 in. tall with 28 in. of usable rack height, the RK16 fits a full complement of NVRs, patch panels, network switches, and power distribution units without the freight cost or floor-space penalty of a closed cabinet. The black wood grain melamine finish integrates cleanly into finished control rooms, server closets, and back-of-house AV installations where exposed metal would look out of place. The knockdown design ships flat, reducing freight damage risk and letting a single installer carry it through a standard door before assembly — a practical advantage on retrofit jobs where elevator access is limited.

Installation Notes

Assembly uses standard 10-32 hardware throughout. The 20.4 in. overall width requires a minimum 22 in. clear floor footprint to allow side clearance for cable egress.
