Overview
The CyberPower PDU81001 is a 1U rack-mount switched metered-by-outlet power distribution unit designed for IT environments requiring granular control and monitoring of power to connected equipment. It provides 8 NEMA 5-15R outlets, each individually switchable and metered, allowing for remote power cycling and real-time power consumption tracking. This unit is ideal for data closets, server racks, or network equipment racks where precise power management is critical for uptime and operational efficiency. The PDU81001 supports a 15A input current, derated to 12A for continuous operation, and offers a total power capacity of 1800W.
Compatibility
This PDU is designed for standard 100-120 VAC power systems. It connects via a NEMA 5-15P input plug, compatible with typical wall outlets and standard UPS outputs. The RJ45 Ethernet port enables remote monitoring and control, making it compatible with network management systems that support SNMP or web-based interfaces. It can be mounted in standard 19-inch racks (1U), vertically (0U), or via wall-mount and under-counter brackets, offering flexibility for various deployment scenarios.
Installation Notes
The unit operates within a temperature range of 32-140°F (0-60°C). It meets UL62368, FCC Class A, and ICES-003 standards. The multifunction LCD display provides local status monitoring for voltage, current, and power consumption per outlet.
