Description

Altronix EFLOW3NX4V Concise Descriptor

Overview

The Altronix EFLOW3NX4V is a compact power distribution module designed to provide regulated 12VDC or 24VDC output at up to 2A total current. It features four fused outputs, each individually protected, making it suitable for powering multiple low-power surveillance devices like IP cameras, access control readers, or network switches where a single, reliable power source is required. This unit simplifies wiring by consolidating power delivery for distributed equipment.

Compatibility

This power distribution unit is designed for general surveillance system power applications. It is compatible with a wide range of 12VDC and 24VDC powered devices, including but not limited to, various IP camera models from brands such as Axis, Hanwha, Hikvision, and Dahua, as well as access control systems and network switches that operate within its voltage and current specifications. Always verify individual device power requirements against the EFLOW3NX4V's total output capacity and individual fuse ratings.

Installation Notes

The EFLOW3NX4V requires a 12VDC or 24VDC input power source. Each of the four outputs is protected by a user-replaceable fuse. Ensure that the total current draw of all connected devices does not exceed the unit's 2A maximum output. Fuse ratings should be selected to protect the connected devices and wiring, typically matching the device's normal operating current plus a small margin. Input and output wiring should be appropriately sized for the current load and installed according to local electrical codes.
