Overview

The Altronix eFlow3NX4V is a versatile power supply and battery charger designed to convert a 220VAC input into four fused, selectable 12VDC or 24VDC outputs, each rated for up to 2A. This unit is ideal for powering multiple surveillance devices or access control components where a single AC input must be distributed and protected. It includes an auxiliary 1A unswitched output for additional low-power devices. The integrated Fire Alarm Interface (FAI) provides supervised disconnect functionality, crucial for life safety system integration. Its design supports seamless transition to stand-by battery power during AC failure, ensuring continuous operation of connected equipment. The eFlow3NX4V is also LinQ2 ready, enabling remote monitoring and management capabilities.

Compatibility

This power supply is designed to work with sealed lead acid or gel type batteries (sold separately) for stand-by power. The unit accepts a 220VAC input (working range 198VAC - 256VAC, 50/60Hz) and provides selectable 12VDC or 24VDC outputs. The Fire Alarm Disconnect (FAI) is supervised and requires a 10K EOL resistor, making it compatible with fire alarm control panels that support such supervision. It is suitable for powering a wide range of low-voltage DC surveillance cameras, access control readers, electric strikes, and other security peripherals requiring stable, fused power distribution.

Installation Notes

The unit operates within a temperature range of 0° C to 49° C (32° F to 120° F). It requires a 5A/250V input fuse. The AC fail supervision feature provides form "C" contacts and can be set to trigger notification after 30 seconds (factory default) or 2 hours. The maximum charge current for the stand-by batteries is 1.54A. The enclosure dimensions are 12.25"W x 15.5"H x 4.5"D.
