Overview
The Middle Atlantic VSA-1626 is a 1 RU adjustable-depth rackshelf designed for secure equipment mounting within standard 19-inch racks. It supports equipment ranging from 16 inches to 26 inches deep, making it suitable for a wide variety of AV, networking, or surveillance components that lack dedicated rack ears. This shelf provides a stable platform for devices up to 400 lbs, preventing sag and ensuring proper airflow in dense rack configurations.
Compatibility
This rackshelf is designed for standard 19-inch equipment racks. Its adjustable depth accommodates a broad range of components, including but not limited to: network switches, power distribution units, audio processors, wireless receivers, and DVRs/NVRs from various manufacturers that do not have integrated rackmount ears. The 1 RU height ensures compatibility with standard rack layouts.
Installation Notes
The VSA-1626 features four mounting points, two at the front and two at the rear, to secure the mounted equipment. The shelf itself mounts to the rack using standard 10-32 rack screws (not included). Ensure the rack structure is capable of supporting the shelf's 400 lb weight capacity plus the weight of the equipment being mounted.
