Description

Geovision 84-BL120-D02U 1.3MP Bullet IP Camera

Overview

The 84-BL120-D02U is a 1.3 megapixel outdoor bullet camera built for perimeter monitoring and general surveillance where you need reliable color imaging in a compact, sealed form factor. IP66 rating means rain, dust, and spray won't degrade performance — critical for building facades, loading docks, and parking area entry points. Dual streaming via H.264 lets you send independent video feeds to your NVR and a remote client simultaneously without encoder overhead, reducing latency on live monitoring.

Compatibility

The 84-BL120-D02U is a standard ONVIF-profile IP camera that integrates with any surveillance NVR or VMS accepting H.264 RTSP streams over Ethernet. Works with Geovision's own GeoVision Security Center platform as well as third-party systems (Milestone, Axis Camera Station, or generic ONVIF-compatible recorders). Built-in 2-way audio support requires your network to route bidirectional RTP; confirm your NVR and network switch support audio streaming before deployment.

Installation Notes

Bullet form factor requires a wall or soffit mount bracket (not included — source separately matched to your mounting surface). Outdoor IP66 enclosure is sealed; do not open or reseal without proper gasket maintenance, or water ingress will void functionality. Power delivery via PoE (802.3af standard, 12.95W typical); confirm your PoE switch has sufficient headroom if running multiple cameras on a single port group. Cable runs should use Cat5e or Cat6 shielded Ethernet; avoid coiling excess cable near RF sources that could degrade audio clarity on the 2-way channel.
