The Hanwha HRX-835A-12TB is an 8-channel pentabrid DVR engineered for hybrid surveillance deployments that combine analog and network camera sources. This enterprise-grade recorder supports AHD, TVI, CVI, and CVBS analog signals up to 8MP, plus up to 10 network IP cameras—making it ideal for integrators expanding existing analog infrastructure or building flexible multi-source systems without complete hardware overhaul.
The HRX-835A-12TB delivers maximum recording bandwidth of 80 Mbps and playback bandwidth of 32 Mbps supporting up to 10 simultaneous playback channels. Dual-stream recording enables flexible scheduling with continuous, event-triggered, and motion-detection modes, plus pre/post-event bookmarking for rapid incident review. Frame rates scale with resolution: 8/8 fps @ 8MP, 12/12 fps @ 5MP, 15/12 fps @ 4MP, 30/25 fps @ 2MP, and up to 30 fps for 720p and 960H resolution.
Simultaneous multi-user playback supports up to 4 users concurrently (1 local, 3 remote), enabling dispatch, management, and archival teams to review footage independently. Web and mobile client connectivity provides remote monitoring and playback across geographically distributed sites. Coaxial control support maintains PTZ and device compatibility with existing infrastructure.
The HRX-835A-12TB addresses a critical gap in modern surveillance deployments: hybrid environments. Rather than force immediate migration from existing analog cameras, this pentabrid platform accepts AHD, TVI, and CVI simultaneously—each at up to 8MP—while adding IP camera capacity. H.265 compression reduces storage footprint compared to H.264 or MJPEG, maximizing the value of the 12TB base configuration.
The 80 Mbps recording bandwidth accommodates mixed-resolution streams without frame-rate compromise. Dual HDMI/VGA output enables independent monitoring and management workflows. For integrators managing multi-generational surveillance estates, this recorder eliminates costly forklift upgrades and supports phased migration strategies.
