The Compulocks 140B is a VESA-mount floor stand designed for stationary display and enclosure installations in retail, kiosk, and point-of-sale environments. The 140B accepts any VESA-compatible display or tablet enclosure and supports two mounting strategies: freestanding on a 12 × 10 inch footprint (304.8 × 254 mm), or permanently bolted to floor using countersunk holes. Freestanding mode suits temporary or frequently repositioned deployments; bolt-to-floor secures the unit against tip-over in high-traffic areas where stability is non-negotiable.
The 140B works with any display, tablet enclosure, or signage solution that uses standard VESA mounting patterns. Installation uses four M4×8mm Phillips pan-head screws (provided). Verify your device's backplate supports VESA bolt holes before ordering — there is no universal backplate adapter. The stand does not include mounting brackets for proprietary enclosure systems; it accepts only VESA-compliant interfaces.
Assembly requires a T-30 Torx screwdriver to attach the base plate to the stand body using four M6×14mm flat-head screws (provided). For freestanding deployment, simply assemble and place on a level floor. For permanent installation, mark and drill four countersunk holes using the included footprint template (10 × 12 inch pattern); bolt the stand to concrete, tile, or wood using floor-appropriate fasteners (not provided). Cable routing supports three inlet/outlet options: top plate, back plate, or base plate — choose the path that minimizes visibility and eliminates trip hazards. Tilt resistance is user-adjustable via the hinge-assembly screw to prevent drift under vibration or accidental contact. Critical: transport the unit without the stability plate attached to prevent damage during delivery.
