Overview

The Vertiv VR1006 is a 19U wallmount rack designed for secure, space-efficient deployment of IT and networking equipment where floor-standing racks are impractical. Its 36-inch height fits within standard commercial spaces, providing a dedicated enclosure for servers, switches, or surveillance components. The single plexi front door offers visibility into the rack while maintaining a degree of security and environmental protection.

Compatibility

This rack is designed to accommodate standard 19-inch rack-mountable equipment. Its 19U height allows for up to 19 individual rack units of devices. It is suitable for housing network switches, patch panels, small servers, DVRs, NVRs, and other 19-inch rack-width equipment common in surveillance, IT, and telecommunications installations.

Installation Notes

The VR1006 is engineered for wall mounting. Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound and capable of supporting the rack's weight when fully loaded (185 lbs empty, plus equipment weight). Installation requires appropriate wall anchors and fasteners, not included. The dimensions are 36 inches high, 21 inches wide, and 24 inches deep, requiring adequate clearance for equipment installation and door swing.
