Overview

The Vertiv VR1002 is a 12U-capacity wallmount rack designed for secure, space-efficient equipment deployment. Its 24-inch depth and solid front door make it suitable for environments where space is at a premium and equipment security is paramount, such as network closets, retail back offices, or small server rooms. This unit provides a stable platform for mounting network switches, patch panels, small servers, or surveillance equipment.

Compatibility

This rack is designed to house standard 19-inch rack-mountable equipment. It offers 12U of vertical mounting space, accommodating devices with standard EIA-310 rack-mount dimensions. The 24-inch depth is suitable for most standard network switches, patch panels, and compact IT or AV components. It is not designed for deep rackmount servers or large power distribution units requiring more than 24 inches of depth.

Installation Notes

The VR1002 is intended for wall mounting and requires secure attachment to structural elements capable of supporting its weight (150 lbs) plus the weight of installed equipment. Ensure the mounting surface can handle the load. The solid front door provides security and can be configured for left or right-hand opening. Ensure adequate clearance for door swing and equipment access during installation.
