Overview

The Altronix T2ZK7F16D is a power distribution module designed to integrate with Altronix TROVE2Z2 series access control power distribution cabinets. It provides a consolidated power solution for up to 16 doors, delivering a total of 10A of current with individual PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) resettable fuses for each door. This unit simplifies wiring and installation in multi-door access control deployments, ensuring reliable power delivery and overcurrent protection for card readers, electric strikes, and other door hardware.

Compatibility

This module is specifically designed for use within the Altronix TROVE2Z2 series access control power distribution cabinets. It is compatible with systems requiring up to 10A of distributed power across 16 individual outputs, commonly found in enterprise-level access control installations utilizing brands such as Lenel, Honeywell, AMAG, and others that integrate with Altronix power solutions.

Installation Notes

Each of the 16 PTC protected outputs can be individually set to 1A or 2.5A, offering flexibility for different door hardware power requirements. The module requires a 12VDC or 24VDC input from the main TROVE2Z2 power supply. Proper wiring to the main cabinet and to the individual door controllers is critical for system stability and safety. Ensure the total current draw does not exceed the 10A rating of the module.
