Overview

The Altronix T2CVK3310 is a compact power distribution module designed to provide multiple fused outputs for 12VDC surveillance devices. It's engineered to simplify wiring and enhance reliability in installations where a single power source needs to feed several cameras, encoders, or other low-voltage equipment. This unit is ideal for consolidating power feeds in cabinet or rack-mount scenarios, reducing cable clutter and improving serviceability. The T2CVK3310 model specifically offers four individually fused outputs, each rated for 2A, with a total current capacity of 10A.

Compatibility

This module is designed to work with any standard 12VDC power source. It is commonly paired with Altronix power supplies, such as the AL1024ULXD2, AL1024ULXD4, or similar 12VDC units providing at least 10A. It is suitable for powering a wide range of 12VDC surveillance cameras, including many models from manufacturers like Axis Communications, Hanwha Vision, Hikvision, and Dahua, provided their power requirements do not exceed 2A per device and the total load stays within the 10A limit of the module. It also supports other 12VDC security devices like IR illuminators or network switches.

Installation Notes

The module requires a 12VDC input from a regulated power supply. Each of the four outputs is protected by a 2A fuse (Type: PTC resettable fuse). Ensure the total current draw from all connected devices does not exceed 10A to prevent overload. The unit features screw terminals for input and output connections, facilitating secure wiring. For optimal performance and safety, mount the module in a well-ventilated area, away from excessive heat or moisture.
