Description

Altronix T1KE3F8DV Power Distribution Module

Overview

The Altronix T1KE3F8DV is a compact power distribution module designed to simplify the wiring of multiple surveillance devices. It takes a single power input and distributes it to up to eight outputs, each with its own PTC resettable fuse. This unit is ideal for consolidating power delivery in enclosures or near device clusters, reducing cable clutter and installation time for 12VDC or 24VDC systems. The T1KE3F8DV model specifically addresses the need for fused protection on each output circuit.

Compatibility

This module is designed for use with Altronix power distribution systems and enclosures. It is compatible with a wide range of 12VDC or 24VDC surveillance cameras, access control readers, and other low-voltage security devices that require individual circuit protection. It integrates seamlessly with Altronix TROVE series enclosures and other power supply chassis that accept its form factor.

Installation Notes

Each of the eight outputs on the T1KE3F8DV is protected by a 3A PTC resettable fuse, providing overcurrent protection for connected devices. The module requires a single input power connection, which should match the voltage of the connected devices (12VDC or 24VDC). Ensure the total current draw of all connected devices does not exceed the rating of the primary power supply and the input rating of this distribution module. Wiring should be performed according to local electrical codes and best practices for low-voltage systems.
