Description

Altronix T2M7LCK2 Concise Descriptor

Overview

The Altronix T2M7LCK2 is a compact, fused power distribution module designed to efficiently distribute regulated 12VDC power to multiple surveillance or access control devices. It solves the problem of managing multiple power runs from a single source, offering individual fused protection for each output to prevent cascading failures. This unit is ideal for installations where space is constrained, such as inside enclosures or small cabinets, and requires a 115VAC input to provide multiple 12VDC outputs.

Compatibility

This module is compatible with a wide range of 12VDC powered surveillance cameras, including but not limited to cameras from Axis Communications (e.g., P-series, Q-series), Hanwha Vision (formerly Hanwha Techwin), Hikvision, Dahua, and other IP camera manufacturers that operate within its specified voltage and current limits. It also supports various 12VDC access control components like maglocks, electric strikes, and card readers from brands such as HID Global, Mercury Security, and LenelS2.

Installation Notes

The T2M7LCK2 requires a standard 115VAC input. Each of the seven outputs provides 12VDC with individual fuse protection. Ensure the total current draw of all connected devices does not exceed the module's total output capacity. Fuse replacement is straightforward, allowing for quick restoration of service if a connected device experiences a short circuit. The compact form factor facilitates mounting within tight spaces.
