Description

Altronix T2HW7LCK3 Power Distribution Kit

Overview

The Altronix T2HW7LCK3 is a pre-wired, rack-mountable power distribution kit designed to simplify the installation of up to eight IP cameras or other surveillance devices. It consolidates power delivery, reducing wiring complexity and installation time in centralized surveillance system deployments. This kit is ideal for network video recorders (NVRs) or video management systems (VMS) where multiple devices require reliable, regulated power.

Compatibility

This kit is designed to power up to eight individual surveillance devices, each requiring either 12VDC or 24VAC. It is compatible with a wide range of IP cameras, PTZ cameras, IR illuminators, and other low-voltage surveillance peripherals that fall within the output specifications. The integrated power supply is suitable for use with most commercial surveillance systems, including those utilizing NVRs or VMS platforms.

Installation Notes

The T2HW7LCK3 is designed for 19-inch rack mounting, requiring 2U of vertical space. Each of the eight outputs can be individually configured for 12VDC or 24VAC, with a total output current of 10A shared across all outputs. Ensure the total current draw of connected devices does not exceed this limit. Input power is 115VAC or 230VAC. Proper grounding and adherence to local electrical codes are required during installation.
